South-east Queensland is bracing for severe thunderstorms with a warning issued for Ipswich, Somerset, the Lockyer Valley and the Sunshine Coast.Thunderstorms likely to produce damaging winds, heavy rain, and large hail have been detected moving north-east from Coolum Beach on the Sunshine Coast towards Noosa Heads and from Eumundi to Tewantin, around Moore and Linville in the Somerset Region, and moving southeast from Helidon to Gatton, Grantham, Linville, Laidley, Grandchester and Mulgowie.A more general severe thunderstorm warning is also current for parts of the Wide Bay and Burnett, Darling Downs and Granite Belt and Southeast Coast districts.
